Mark the inside face of each piece with its label. 1A means layer 1, piece A; layers count from the bottom. After Z, letters continue AA, AB. Match the labels to the top view, 3D preview or printed layer maps.

Opposite-wall and rotating corner arrangements are compared across the whole bed, with offcuts reused using a best-fit estimate. The plan favours fewer purchased sleepers, then less sawing. The purchase count is practical, but not guaranteed to be the absolute minimum. Square cuts only; posts, fixings and spare timber are not included.
Long walls use multiple pieces. Support each end-to-end joint; check the layer layouts for seams before building.
